Today we will talk about one of the most famous personalities in the world. Shavkat Mirziyoyev who is the president of Uzbekistan. Shavkat was born on July 24, 1957, in Zaamin district, Jizzakh region, Uzbekistan. He serves as a president of the country and his services are highly appreciatable by the people. He is famous in the country because of his economic development in the country in his reign or after his reign.

Early career term as prime minister

In early 1990 he joined the Supreme Soviet of the Uzbek Soviet socialist republic and he also served under Karimov. He was selected as the president of Soveit in March. As the country is an independent country and they have a choice to select their president he was appointed as the governor of Tashkent Mirzo Ulogbek district in 1992. In early 1996, he also paid for his services as a district governor and as a deputy of the Oliy Majlis (parliament). In 2003 he again got his position back. Karimov selected him as the governor of the Jizzakh region in 1996. He served the people and made sure that the people of the district were happy with their works and development so he dedicated his time to the betterment of the people.

Term as prime minister

He is familiar with cotton production and a major source of earnings of the region is from cotton. In 2001 he was moved to the Samarkand region and he served as a governor of that city.

Then he was selected as a prime minister by Karimov in 2003. He made a number of changes in the economic development and settled the economy of the country. In his mid-40s, he announced a new generation into the top policy-making positions. With the youth, he has a mind that they can do much better. The major concern about the development of the country is to find the flaws in the development. Fix the structural issues of the economy. Then he announced some of the programs for the development made a number of changes in the agricultural sector and improved the living style of the people of the country.

In 2016, Karimove died and the parliament appointed Shavkat Mirziyoyev as the interim president. In December of 2016, he was once again selected as the prime minister of the country.

Presidency

He is among those prime minister who has served their countries and given their hundred percent so they can developed their countries. During his presidency, he made efforts toward economic reform and liberalization. He made such policies that a number of barriers that they had on their trades were removed.  Now the country is free to trade anywhere and they started some foreign investment. They have better connections with the international community. A strong bond is with Tajikistan. After the few years, they have made their relations better with the country as before 2016 they threatened Tajikistan for not constructing the Rogun Dam. As they feel that it will be a risk to water security.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev didn’t show any concern on the issue to the country but he talked about it in front of the press and here he mentioned the human rights issues. Then in 2019 he started the political prisoners and tolerated protest and in these, they mentioned slowing the forced labor in the cotton industry.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev has shown his concerns and gave the policies of the shifts and it all depends upon the nature of the government. They have to remove the sidelining and publically criticizing some of his old guard elite. He shows his concerns and commitment to the reform. Then he replaces them with his own allies and they have shown thier determination so they can check his policies with less resistance.
